The Civil Law barrister Michael G. Moore, who taught at the University of California-Los Angeles Law School, was named one of the 100 Most Influential People in the World by Time magazine.
Moore has written a number of books, including his 2006 book The Rise of a New America: How the New Civil Rights Movement Changed the Way Americans Think and Live, and his 2015 book America Is Not A Colony: A Journey Through Our Changing Politics.
He has also published several books on civil law and served on the Supreme Court for 16 years.
